There are two lesson plans for grades Pre-K through 4. The 30-minute lesson plans can be used in all classrooms for all grade levels. Lesson one gives ways for both experienced and inexperienced teachers a way to establish classroom rules, agreements, and jobs. This lesson plan lays the foundation for lesson two which helps children understand how to have friendships without fighting by using The Peace Rug.
These lesson plans are easily adapted by parents to teach to children in the home. Lesson plans in Spanish and French are also available.
